If you are reading this on RSS, I hope you'll drop by my actual site, which has has just undergone it's most extensive facelift ever. It is a cleaner, more readable, searchable and navigable site. You can now subscribe to comments on just one post. There are new "About" and "Speaker" pages. Of greatest pride is a special page for people who just want to see the Social Media Global Report. Please poke around and let me know what you think. More important, let me know ASAP if you find something that needs fixing.
Speaking of the SM Global Report, my special thanks to Intel for sponsoring this labor of curiosity and passion. Please note the new nifty, Intel Widget which delivers you onto the most recent Intel social media updates. I am hoping in the coming weeks to reinvigorate the report with more frequent updates. In the next day or two, I'll be posting a really interesting SM interview with Robert Stevens the founder of GeekSquad. Stevens has taken it from just him to 1700 Geeks in Best Buy stores or zooming about town in green Volkswagens.
My very special thanks to Ethan Bodnar, the recent high school graduate who designed and built my new site, handling multiple issue and a picky client to produce without a hitch a very cool site. I met Ethan in the Blogosphere, became an admirer of his when I interviewed him for the SM Global Report and then selected him for this new site from nearly 20 designers who showed interest. I found that our social media connection elevated my trust in him. His pitch to me showed enormous understanding of who I am and what this site needed and his sample for me to look at it was his own excellent blog site.
Ethan will do some freelance work after he starts Hartford Art School to study graphic design next month. I am certain he will do well because he's already a real pro. That being said, I imagine I still have to pay the balance on the invoice he sent me.
Please tell me what you think of the site.
