Duncan Riley at TechCrunch reports on Next New Networks, a new startup formed by some heavy weights from the likes of Nickelodean, MTV and Turner Broadcast. Their aim is to create micro online television networks for niche communities.
It seems to me that online video is already getting overcrowded, but this is a really good idea that may prove to have more legs than a centipede. And with a strong team behind it, I have a hunch that we will be hearing more about this gang, even if the company name is among the more forgettable in the category.
