Hubbub founder Giovanni Rodriguez, my erstwhile hiking buddy has recently completed a study of 50 social media business cases for his client SAP, and he has agreed to make his first public presentation of them at our upcoming Starting the Conversation workshop on--not coincidentally-- social media in business. Also, not coincidentally, SAP is a sponsor of our workshop which will be held June 11 at SAP headquarters in Palo Alto.
We now have about 25 people signed up to attend, but there is still room. I've been competing with Deb Schultz to see who can recruit more attendees. She's currently beating me by two registrants. If you register and type in "SHEL" you get $100 off, the same as if you write in "DEB." She cheated last week by offering to throw in a free drink. I countered by offering $20 in cash. I'm raising the ante as of right now. If you use the SHEL code, I'll toss in an autograohed copy of Naked Conversations.
With a team that includes Giovanni, Deb, Jeremiah Owyang, Chris Heuer, and Howard Greenstein we have an agenda packed with actionable information for business social media champions who want the insights and tools they need to help their companies or clients start the conversation.
