The very first time I was ever introduced onto a stage as co-author of Naked Conversations, was for a panel at BlogOn 2005 at Manhattan's Copacabana. Deb Schultz, then VP marketing for Six Apart was sitting next to me. As I recall we disagreed with each other a few times, but generally we enjoyed each other immensely. I think Deb is informed, pragmatic and approachable. She's also pretty funny when she wants to be.
So I'm thrilled that she just announced she will join me June 11 at SAP headquarters for the first Social Media Club "Starting the Conversation" workshop series session designed for consultants and enterprise folk who are interested in real and pragmatic ways to safely start using social media programs for business.
My job,as lead-off speaker, is to get everyone singing and dancing. Deb is stuck with the aforementioned "real and pragmatic ways"to start the conversation in the business environment.
