I encouraged Kami to post her disagreement with my recent post that in the case of Web 2.0 companies, they would be better off by blogging and NOT using traditional PR. She does a good job in building a case, but take issue with one comment of hers.
She refers to blogging as a tactic such as a press release.Blogs to me are not tactics. They are power tools that enable a fundamental change from one directional PR programs to a two-way dialog in which the customer moves in position to the center of a business organization.
More to come on this issue. Right now I have to pop over to Riya for a meeting. Now that they've raised $15 million, I wonder why they aren't picking me up in a limo.
