I had never live blogged before The Blogging Enterprise on Wednesday and it was a real kick doing it. So may people had useful and interesting things to say, that I had to scramble to keep up. Someone--I forgot who- observed that I am a two-finger typist. They didn't teach boys to type, back when I was being victimized by the public school system.
But in live blogging, I misspelled three people's names, and I feel badly about that because they were among my favorite speakers. They are (hopefully spelled properly):
Todd Watson is not Paul Watson as I wrote. He is a software guy who puts a very human face on IBM
John Slafsky--Has no blog, but he does have an "f" in the middle of his name which I omitted. As I said, when I was on a panel with him, "If I ever find myself in need of an attorney, I sure hope I can afford him. He's at the legendary Wilson Sonsini in Silicon Valley
Matt Mullenweg, founder of Wordpress has only one "g" at the end of his name. He's currently having a sucky war with my co-author Robert Scoble. I hope it remains civil.
I have made the appropriate corrections in the previous posts so that search engines will find what I wrote about them. While I was writing this, James Governor noted that I screwed up on his name as well.
I seem to be suffering from a name-recognition deficiency lately. I will try to do a little better on names when I live blog in the future.
