Whew, fired up the aggregator tonight and found these very harsh reactions to our PR chapter.
The neat thing about putting this book up before we publish it is we can react to this kind of feedback before we publish. In the old days we'd hear this kind of feedback after the book was published and, then, it'd be too late to do anything.
Would love to know what you think.
Robert French: The book, as it appears now, is shaping up to be an empty tomb for the ‘do not read’ list.
Trevor Cook (long analysis): Bloggers do not have a good reputation, or any reputation at all, among the general populace. This inability to take a broad perspective is a major flaw in this chapter.
Update: at least one blogger likes the chapter. John Wagner writes: The latest chapter is called "Survival of the Publicists," and it's a must read for anyone who works in PR or corporate communications.
