One of the challenges in writing this book is how to deal with Robert Scoble as subject matter. Unlike me, Robert is part of the story. Blogging has elevated him from being just another liked and respected geeky guy, to being a global influence. His influence has helped to shape and popularize Channel 9, one of our favorite case studies. As I wrote, long before anyone had thought of this book project Scoble is helping to change the face of Microsoft into something less demonic. His Corporate Manifesto is world-recognized as a guideline for corporate blogging
The question is how do we, as a writing team, integrate Robert's role into the larger story without sounding affected or self-serving? Our purpose is to tout a technology that improves business for all parties.
So, do we write about Robert in the third person? We'll take the first 100 comments...
