If you are reading this on RSS, I hope you'll drop by my actual site, which has has just undergone it's most extensive facelift ever. It is a cleaner, more readable, searchable and navigable site. You can now subscribe to comments on just one post. There are new "About" and "Speaker" pages. Of greatest pride is a special page for people who just want to see the Social Media Global Report. Please poke around and let me know what you think. More important, let me know ASAP if you find something that needs fixing.
Speaking of the SM Global Report, my special thanks to Intel for sponsoring this labor of curiosity and passion. Please note the new nifty, Intel Widget which delivers you onto the most recent Intel social media updates. I am hoping in the coming weeks to reinvigorate the report with more frequent updates. In the next day or two, I'll be posting a really interesting SM interview with Robert Stevens the founder of GeekSquad. Stevens has taken it from just him to 1700 Geeks in Best Buy stores or zooming about town in green Volkswagens.
My very special thanks to Ethan Bodnar, the recent high school graduate who designed and built my new site, handling multiple issue and a picky client to produce without a hitch a very cool site. I met Ethan in the Blogosphere, became an admirer of his when I interviewed him for the SM Global Report and then selected him for this new site from nearly 20 designers who showed interest. I found that our social media connection elevated my trust in him. His pitch to me showed enormous understanding of who I am and what this site needed and his sample for me to look at it was his own excellent blog site.
Ethan will do some freelance work after he starts Hartford Art School to study graphic design next month. I am certain he will do well because he's already a real pro. That being said, I imagine I still have to pay the balance on the invoice he sent me.
Please tell me what you think of the site.

I like the new design!
Clean & Dynamic !!
Going over to "Intel to sponsor my Social Media Global Report".

The new neighborhood looks real nice!! Lean and clean.
Thanks for building a widget rather than just putting a logo on your site. My Intel Global Communications Group is fired up that we have the chance to help your great Social Media Global Report keep movin' ahead.

Ken Kaplan is the Intel communications manager who served as a catalyst in Intel becoming my sponsor Thanks, Ken.

Like the new look. Shiny and clean, like a brand new machine.
You may want to reconsider being late to embrace Shiny Things, since that's what your blog looks like now.
Congrats!

Nice and clean! Looks good.

Paul,
In the Global Neighbourhood where I hang out anything still on Typepad is considered quaintly old-fashioned.

Wait, you get a new design *and* Ken Kaplan? This doesn't seem especially fair to us little guys.
I really love the new design, except maybe for the picture. You're more handsome than that. Heck, even I have a nicer picture of you: http://flickr.com/photos/chrisbrogan/2439453675/ .
But hats off to Ethan. He's really skinned this site nicely.

Chris, I'm a fan of yours, but this must be my week to disagree with you. First off, you are no longer a little guy. You've evolved into an absolute top tier social media thinker and you are just going to have to ditch the Mr. Humble part. Second, while I concede there seems to be a paucity of good photos of me, the one you serve up is not among the ones I embrace. It looks like I am ghaving some troubles with regularity. As for Ken Kaplan, I will be happy to arrange an introduction for a small fee.

Which pic are you guys assailing, the one in the sidebar?

Nice work on the new design. Nice and clean while still being authoritative.
Of course I would have put a massive picture of you on the page but I'm inclined to do that. Plus, check out that punim.

Love the font for the masthead, don't like the font for the post headlines so much. Other than that, very nice redesign! Wish I could get my act together to redo Flacklife.

Pat,
Yes keep the side bar pic or yes replace it? What does everyone else think?
