Alive in Baghdad Blog Correspondent is Murdered

Ali Shafeya Al Moussawi, correspondent for the Alive in Baghdad blog was killed in the very early hours of the Iraqi Saturday morning. Neighbors say members of the Iraqi National Guard broke into his home and fired 31 bullets into his head and chest.

At one time, Robert and I wanted to name the book that became Naked Conversations, "Blog or Die." Then, Steve Straight, wrote his strong objection: "In some parts of the world, it's blog AND die," he wrote. How sadly true and prophetic.

That link to Alive seems not to be working.

This one seems to work:

Our thoughts and prayers with Ali's family at this time of grief.

Thanks Mark. I think I've fixed it now.
