My failed TC40 Twitter blog experience

My idea was simple. I would take notes at TC40 on Twitter, posting them in neat little 140 character capsules. Then, after the conference, I'd assemble them into post here. I would also use my little WebCam to grab some vid clips of famous people like Michael Arrington and Mark Zuckerbergand post them at YourTrumanShow and then embed them in the the blog post here.

Then I would take some pictures and put them up on Flickr and show at least one in the post IMG_0942 maybe here.

I'm enjoying growing from just being a text guy, into all these multimedia social conversation tools. The twitter part didn't work, because I had a computer problem that is fixed. And I learned that webcams are pretty limited in capability.

The whole thing has obviously come out a mess.

But I'll get better tools and I'll get better at using them and I hope you find the results both useful and entertaining.

Definitely NOT a failed experience then - you know what you need to do next time...plus the video and pics came out great! Kind of ironic considering you're just a "text guy" :)
