Through Toby Bloomberg, I was pointed to this site where you can watch the CNN clip on the Kathy Sierra.
I have to admit I was more than a little concerned about this piece piece of Big Media work. I was fearful that it would be polarizing or sensationalized, but it was not. It emphasized that free speech is best left unfettered. It was nice to see Chris Locke and Kathy Sierra smiling and friendly.
Personally, I think it's time for the blogosphere to move forward, not letting the slimeballs serve as a sea anchor to what are generally productive and informative conversations online. I think Kathy would agree.
I look forward to the return of her voice to the conversation in my global neighborhood.

They were smiling? Did you link to the wrong clip? I didn't see anything that resembled smiles.

Rob,
They were smiling when the greeted each other. Considering where they were a week ago, that ass small, but encouraging, indication--at least to me.

However, I think that we should also learn from this encounter, and use it to get educated about online issues, especially as they relate to kids.

Hate to say it, but I have mixed feelings about Kathy Sierra and her victim/paranoid mentality.
She is a big beneficiary of this mess. She got on CNN and etc.
Many of the knee-jerk reactions of sympathy and support appeared, to me, to be "blog-krulling": posting positive comments on a controversial thread, in order to drive traffic to their own blogs.
