Rick Segal spends a plane ride telling readers that if they must skip one blogging book this year, Blog Schmog is the one to miss. Thanks, Rck. It was on my Amazon list of books to buy. I love it when a VC saves me a few bucks.

It's not a bad book Shel, and you'd agree with most of it I think.
I read a bunch of it at the local bookstore, but it's really nothing new. Blogs work. They won't take over the world. TV and newspapers will adapt blah blah blah.
Well written and amusing, but I saw no real new content. Hence I didn't buy it

Oh yeah skip that one. I had a review copy (electronic) and I couldn't finish it.
A book has to be pretty dern bad for me not to even finish it.

Now, now... it's not bad. It's heavy on the promotion of Bob's expertise: Direct Marketing, in favor of blogging. But what can you expect? I enjoyed it. It gave a different viewpoint - one I hear a lot, from people who don't 'get' blogging. The value of this book is in its ability to get die-hard bloggers thinking about why non-bloggers think we're crazy.
