Stiffs on a Plane

Remembering my ordeal with British Airways (BA) and lost luggage, Adrian Moss  pointed me to this gem about the venerable airways upgrading a passenger to First Class after she died. I wonder if it was the food. When I dealt with BA, they were extremely good at saying, "I can't tell you how terribly sorry we are..." Perhaps that was rehearsal for occasions such as this.

Seriously, with millions and millions of people in transit at all times all over the world, some of them will die.  I don't know what else the airline can do in such cases. I've sat next to worse company on a couple of recent flights.

I guess putting the body there is better than putting it in with the luggage...

What a very unfortunate event for the family to have to endure on a plane...

At least BA didn't tell you, "Mistakes were made..."
