Lighter Blogging, lighter me

I have only been minimal blogging for the past few days and it's likely to continue for a couple more. Paula, her mom just home from the hospital with a broken ankle and me, have all have a special gift this year, called norovirus.

It doesn't last long, but it has about the same devastating effect on the body that Katrina had on New Orleans,  except recuperation is a lot faster. I lost seven pounds in about 30 hours.  I also slept about 14 of those 30 hours. This is two days later and I feel fine once again.

There is very little advice I can give on how to avoid the disease.  Stay out of hospitals and off cruise ships.  Don't kiss or sip other people's water.  wash ... You probably won't follow this advice, nor would I.

But in any case, blogging will be slow over here until I get caught up with some client and book work. I look forward to getting back up to speed and talking more with you.

BTW, the weight loss is only temporary. I've already gained three back.  Try jogging more and eating less.

Ouch. Feel better.

Get better soon.
You sure its not just plain old age? :-)

Shel,

Feel better soon, and take it easy! That virus doesn't sound like any fun at all, save for the part about losing weight fast. LOL

Get well soon, friend.

This virus hit the news a few weeks ago. Sorry to hear that it has hit you too. ;-) Lots of garlicy chicken soup has been scientifically proven to combat viruses. Really [enzymatic co-factors].

Yikes! Hope you're back in top form real soon.

Get well soon - I normally get something yucky like this at New Year when I gorge out with my French family-in-law in their traditional 14 course meal. I managed to escape the meal - and illness - this year.

"There is very little advice I can give on how to avoid the disease." Hmmm, maybe live yor first life entirely in Second Life where kissing water and cruises ships are sans viruses? Anyhow, get really well really soon!

I feel your pain, I think I had that in August. :-(

Take it easy!
