Sorry, Jeremiah, but I'm sure you'll survive the call.
This site will be called Global Neighbourhoods. The goto URL will be globalneighbourhoods.com. It was time to make the call and I feel that using the Anglicized spelling illustrates a key point. As we all go global we need to be sensitive to local. We need to understand the culture of the neighborhood. It's the same as being in Mexico and remembering to address people you barely know as "usted," rather than the more familiar "tu."
That being said, in copy I will go with "Global Neighborhoods." I am an American, writing in my own dialect. I try to omit as many local slang comments and technology insider words as I can to make it easier for people of other dialects o understand me. If this is incongruous, then so it goes.
Please note also, that Global Neighborhoods is a working title. The publisher may elect to change it and will most certainly have a say on how it is spelled. Until then, as Tamera commented, it's really not that important.
