Bloggie Awards Announced

I just spent the last 90 minutes surfing the wonderful weblogs nominated for Bloggies.  I'm thrilled to say that I was familiar with less than half of them, I would guess less than 40 percent. On first walkthrough I found reason to subscribe to 10 new blogs.

This is wonderful.  Discovering new blogs that are interesting or useful to me is more fun than reading the ones I know as well as I know my own. All 10 blogs I picked are from outside of technology and outside the US (I think).

The five nominated for best new blog are all new to me, and all worth checking out. So what are you doing here, reading this tired old stuff?  Go check them out.
