Mark Evans joins b5Media

Mark Evans, one of the best-known and most respected tech business journalists in Canada has announced he has left the National Post to join b5media as chief operating officer. I've come to know Mark fairly well over recent months and I think extremely highly of him.  He had real strength to the media network's management team.

Mark interviewed me last week at the first Third Tuesday PR bloggers get together. I have to admit both of us were bursting to talk about all this b5 action.  But the financing and Mark's move were not finalized yet, and we were simply not certain that all would happen as it is unfolding.

Over the next few months, I expect there will be more news of known players joining up and just maybe, I'll come back from Europe with the names of more players for the blog network.

OK.  I promise my next post will be on a different subject.
