When you talk about the whole world being internet connected the biggest barrier has long been a price for devices that exceeds annual earning for a great number of people in many parts of the world. For about as long as I can remember MIT's MediaLab co-founder Nick Negroponte has dreamed of lowering that barrier with his vision of a $99 internet PC for every child.
