I've been waiting a long time to make this announcement, probably most of my lifetime. Amazon has started shipping Naked Conversations. 24-hour orders are now available. If you plan to buy this book, now would be an excellent time to click on one of the two book-seller links to the right of this column. An operator will be standing by.
I just did a couple of store checks to Borders and Barnes & Noble. The book is not yet in, but chances are it will be sooner than the Jan. 24 that the store computers are showing.

My order with Amazon(placed in August) still says estimated shipping date Jan 25
:-(

I haven't received a confirmation that mine's shipping yet Shel. As far as stores, just an FYI that it took nearly 2 weeks to get Blog Marketing into all the stores. Largely because the publisher ships it to the main warehouse, which then ships to regional warehouses, which then ships to city warehouses, which then ships to actual stores.
Then they have to decide to put it on the shelf.
It can be an arduous wait. But, it's all worth it!

To those of you who pre-ordered, I cannot answer the question. But I hope the answer is that yours will all be going out shortly. I leave Sunday fr a speaking trip to Singapore, so I won't be able to check this out next week. But please keep me informed--and next week, it is probably best if you email me at shelisrael1@yahoo.com. That's shelisraelONE. It's hard to read.

Jeremy,
I may take time, but we see Blog Marketing just everywhere we look, and always in nice position on the business shelf. In the Hillsdale Barnes & Noble, whcich is a strong tech business book store, you are displayed on the end cap. When we talk to booksellers we are asked how our book is different than yours more than any other title. May we both prosper from the comparison, Jeremy.

The other "jeremy" is here...I seem to run into Jermy wright here and there. interesting.
Anyways, Shel, you're excitement over your book reminds me of my buddies when they had their first kid, it really is exciting, and I'm excited for you...well done all your hard work is paying off!!!

FYI, at Amazon, my preorder still has a January 25th delivery date.
Also, I added a new one to my cart and checked out and my order details on it say it will be delivered on the 25th, too.
So, despite the "shipping in 24 hours" availability blurb, orders still say they will be delivered in a few weeks.

I'm sorry. I just can't answer what's going on. It's clerical on their end maybe. But I am told that when the reviews go live so does Amazon. Either books will start arriving Monday or they won't and I am sorry to have stirred all this up.

I couldn't wait for the hard copy so I bought the pdf on Amazon the minute it came out. I'm loving every word and filled with ideas. Plus I've become even more passionate about blogging. Thank you :-)

No, Graham. Thank you for those very kind words.

Shel, don't worry, I wish you and Robert all the best. From what I hear from folk who've read both books, they are perfectly compatible. Which is good, since we're both each other's highest co-buy book on Amazon ;)

I too encountered the discrepancy on Amazon between the "typically ships in 24 hours message" and then an estimated ship date of Jan 24 once I placed my order. I contacted Amazon and within 12 hours received a response:
"I have investigated your order, and it appears that the estimated shipment and delivery dates listed on your order confirmation e-mail are incorrect...Our developers are currently working to correct the technical error that caused these dates to be miscalculated.
To remedy the situation, I've upgraded the shipping speed to Next Day Domestic at no addional cost."
Kudos to Amazon! Looking forward to receiving my copy.
