Why Bloggers write so much about Blogs
Scoble's back and I'm juiced. I've missed the big guy. His first blog, coincidentally addresses an issue I was planning to write about tonight anyway, really and truly:
Why do bloggers write so much about blogging? Doesn't it get boring? Who has something new to say? Well, let's backtrack on it a bit. Blogging is a place where people with similar interests come to share their knowledge and passion, right? So what's the biggest shared interest that the 21 million bloggers have? Duh...
The blogosphere now has a population larger than many small countries. We are a diverse and unruly lot, but we share one common thread. We love blogging. Out growing country has tens of millions of visitors who don't blog. Some come to hear conversations about other subjects ranging from quilting, to emergency help in natural disasters, to where to find a cool string of open source code. But these countless others are here because they are interested in blogging.
Yeah, Robert. We all get tired of talking about it. But after a good Rest we seem to go back to it. Come to think about it, your recent was all about blogging, wasn't it?

Shel - let's look at blogging about blogs from a learning perspective.
Blogs have become informal online classrooms for understanding this new marketing strategy. Via blogs we've discussed and debated issues from character blogs, linking strategiesm, blog platforms, blog skin designs and more.
I find it fascinating that we're leaning from and with each other, as well as, challenging each other as we take steps to make this new tool/tactic/strategy relevent and credible...virtually. It makes perfect sense to me that bloggers blog about blogging!

Mmmm.... maybe the biggest shared interest that the 21 million bloggers have, is the 21 million bloggers in the first place! The 21 million minds and voices.
