Raftery's 1st is With Scoble

Tom Raftery just did his first podcast interview and it was with Scoble. Tom is one of my many blog friends who I've actually never met in the real world, but that will change at Les Blogs coming up Dec. 5.  Robert and Tom will be coming over "to the continent" from Cork, Ireland where Tom recruited Robert to speak and is producing the IT at Cork National Business and Technology Conference.

Tom is a really good, natural interviewer.  He draws Robert out better than most interviews I've heard and read.  Robert reveals a couple of things that I didn't know about him.

Robert has my envy.  I have always wanted to see Ireland. I'm from the Boston area and among many of my friends as a young adult, I was known as Shelly McIzzy. My real monicker just didn't play well at the Plow and the Stars where I used to hang out.

Great job, Tom.

Shel,

thanks a million for the link - the podcast with Robert was great fun - he's just full of info, energy and enthusiasm, isn't he?

A rare breed - I can't wait to see him wow the crowd in Cork.

Tom.
